On May 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the parish of Uppinangady witnessed a moment of great joy and gratitude as the Ruby Jubilee of Priesthood of Rev. Fr. Jerald D’Souza was solemnly celebrated. The thanksgiving Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Jerald himself, with an inspiring homily delivered by Fr. Vincent Sequeira, and was graced by the presence of several priests including Fr. Bonifas Pinto, Fr. Vincent Vinod Saldanha, Fr. Abel Lobo, Fr. Rayan Ashok Crasta, Fr. Nilesh, and Fr. Ronald D’Souza. Following the Eucharistic celebration, a vibrant felicitation program was held at St. Mary’s English Medium School Hall, Uppinangady, where parishioners, family, and well-wishers came together to honour and thank Fr. Jerald for his forty years of faithful service to the Church. The program, beautifully compered by Fr. Bonifas Pinto, was filled with words of appreciation, cultural performances, and heartfelt tributes, making the Ruby Jubilee not only a milestone in Fr. Jerald’s priestly journey but also a radiant testimony of faith, dedication, and love for the community.
